Obasanjo's letter to Jonathan is a game changer, many people seem to believe.

I monitored the Anambra guber election last Saturday NOVEMBER 16. What i observed in terms of what appeared like a choreographed logistics challenge and administrative sloppiness depressed me. it actually means that the law of diminishing returns has set in on Jega-led Independent Electoral Commission INEC. It is also a fore-test of  2015 general elections. May be its time to invite UNO to come and organise elections in Nigeria. I'm greatly disappointed. i dont know what is in Nigeria's public system that makes anybody, even Jega, with all the air of sanctimony and infallibility, be like 'them' in just a short while on the saddle.

Training over

The training is over. The team was: "Community Reporting and the Role of Journalists in the Digital Age.
it took place from November 4 through November 8, 2013 at Beverly Hills Holiday and Resort, GRA Port Harcourt. It was a rich and rewarding experience for me. My gratitude to resource persons including Chris Braithwaite and Samuel A. Eyitayo. Kudos to Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Rivers State Council and the United States Consulate General, Lagos, the organisers.

it was through the knowledge i gathered that i was guided to open this blog, and i do hope to keep it alive in days, months and years to come; and through this medium, to feed followers and visitors with political gist and vital infor around my area of operation- Enugu and Ebonyi. Thanks and God bless. Kenneth Ofoma.
